Dr Justin Amery has been a GP at Bury Knowle since 1994. He is a GP trainer, children’s hospice doctor and medical student tutor. He has published widely in the areas of children’s palliative care and professional development. He has a particular interest in child health and palliative care, but enjoys seeing patients with any problems. He has a strong link with Africa, where he still works from time to time.
Dr Amery is available at Bury Knowle on Monday morning, Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning (from 07.30am)
|Dr Blythe Wilkinson (f)|
MBBS, MRCGP, DFFP, DRCOG, DCH
Dr Blythe Wilkinson has been a GP for over 12 years, having trained in the North East and in Oxford. She is a Partner at Bury Knowle and has three young children. She is happy to see anyone with any problem.
Dr Wilkinson is available on Tuesday all day, Wednesday afternoons and Friday all day.

Dr Melissa Holden has been a GP for over 13 years, having trained in Oxford and Stoke Mandeville. She has been at Bury Knowle for over 13 years and is also one of the Partners. You’ll often see Dr Holden around and about on her bike. She has a particular interest in addiction problems, minor surgery, dermatology and women’s health but enjoys seeing patients with any problems.
Dr Holden is available at Bury Knowle all day on Mondays, Tuesday mornings, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, and Thursday mornings at Barton.
When not at work she enjoys spending as much time outside as possible, walking, cycling or running. She also loves travelling.

BM BCh, MRCP, MRCGP, DFSRH
Dr Ruth Imrie qualified from Oxford University Medical School in 2001, followed by training in general medicine in Glasgow and North West London. She did her GP training in Leicestershire, completing this in 2008. Her post graduate qualifications are MRCP, MRCGP, PGCert Dermatology and Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health.
Dr Imrie is available Monday mornings, Tuesdays from 7.30am, Thursday mornings and all day on Friday.
|Dr Andrew Collins (m)|
MB BCh MRCGP MSc(Tropical Medicine & International Health) DTM&H (diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene) and DCH (diploma in child health).
Dr Andrew Collins is a medical graduate of University College Cork, Ireland. After his General Practice training in 1995, he spent almost nine years living and working in Africa initially in a small rural hospital and later in the control of tropical diseases. He has worked in general practice in London, Ireland and then moved to Oxford. His special interests include tropical/travel medicine and minor surgery.
Dr Collins is available on Monday mornings, Tuesday afternoon and all day Thursday. He works in Barton on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.

MMBS, DRCOG, DFFP, MRCGP.
Dr Karen Bateman joined Bury Knowle Health Centre at the beginning of August 2014. She has been working in Oxfordshire as a GP since 1996 after completing her General practice training here in Oxford. She enjoys seeing patients with any problems. She also still retains strong links with Uganda in East Africa after working there for 2 years doing palliative care and working with children in local children’s homes.
Dr Bateman is available at Bury Knowle on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Dr Bateman works at Wood Farm on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday and Friday mornings.

MbChB MRCGP DRCOG DPD
Dr Debbie Gould has recently relocated to Oxfordshire after 13 years in Liverpool where she attended medical school. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, with a particular interest in Dermatology.
Dr Gould is available at Bury Knowle on Monday mornings, Wednesday all day and Friday mornings. She is available at Barton on Monday and Friday afternoons.
When not working Debbie enjoys running, baking and travelling.
Dr Gould is now on Maternity leave until March 2017

MA (Cantab), MB BS, DRCOG, DGM, DFSRH, MRCGP, DTM&H
Dr Tess Talbot has been working as GP in Oxfordshire since 2010 after training in London and Oxford. She works for the Thames Valley and Wessex Leadership Academy ‘Improving Global Health’ scheme, and retains strong links with Cambodia where she worked for a year. Tess enjoys the variety that comes with working in General Practice and particular interests include women’s health and child nutrition.
Dr Talbot is available all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Her hobbies include travel, music, going to the theatre and supporting Aston Villa FC.
Dr Talbot is now on Maternity leave.

MBBS DRCOG MRCGP
Dr Emily Blount qualified from The University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 2008 and has since worked as a doctor in Auckland and Oxford. She enjoys transferring her training from many different hospital specialities into general practice and therefore she is interested in any problem. She has always wanted to be a family doctor. She fits coils and contraceptive implants.
Dr Blount is available at Bury Knowle on Mondays afternoons, Tuesday, Wednesday and mornings, and at Wood Farm on Monday mornings and Thursday afternoons.
You may see Emily running through the parks or cycling around the city when not at work.

Dr Kirsty Rayner has been a GP since 2002 and worked in Wheatley for 11 years before joining the Bury Knowle and Wood Farm teams. She has a particular interest in Women's Health and fits both contraceptive coils and implants. However she enjoys the variety of general practice and is very happy to see all patients.
Dr Rayner is available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at Bury Knowle and Monday afternoons and Thursday mornings at Wood Farm

MBBS, MRCP, MRCGP, DFSRH, PG Certificate in Palliative Care
Further to obtaining medical degree in India, I moved to the UK for further training in 2001. Since then I have lived and worked in Wales as a hospital doctor in General Medicine and Palliative care . I completed my GP training in April 2014 and relocated to Oxfordshire later that year. My areas of interest are General medicine, Palliative care, and more recently Women’s health. However I do enjoy all aspects of General practice. Outside of work I enjoy travelling, cooking and spending time with my family.
Dr Kavitha Ravichandran will be available Tuesday and Thursday all day and Wednesday and Friday mornings.

Anna began her medical studies in Cambridge before moving to London to complete her training. She qualified as a GP in Lewisham in 2010. She enjoys the diversity of general practice and has had the privilege of working with Doctors of the World in East London and on the Amazon Hope medical boat. She is available all day Monday and Thursday morning at Bury Knowle.
